Optimize

I'm getting some help from tech support with my tunnel access to my company's network from the customer site and usually i call and talk to somebody from far far away. today i called the same number and got some edgy fucker who told me to use web chat. so i went to web chat and i'm chatting with another support rep who is taking like 5 minutes to send me a question. so i nudge him up a bit and he immediately pastes a quick response which tells me that the reason response is so slow is that they are supporting three people at the same time. holy shit! they support three calls at one time. and just less than ten years ago we had a crew of our own people in our own building who had good salaries and health plans vacations benefits and a good life. now we have guys from another company getting paid less than minimum wage in a foreign country supporting three people at the same time.
the bottom line is happy. but how far is the business world going to go to cut costs? companies are striving for the least amount of payroll for the most amount of goods and services, so everytime a company cuts costs it cuts a chunk of our once great middle class and adds that chunk to our great upper class. unfortunately they only make up about 2% of our total population. no i did not check my facts, maybe its ....4%. the message is the same, kill the rich people.
