I like the parkway theater

Three blocks from my home was a unique spot to see a movie. They served beer, they had couches, they even had a regular screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. The Parkway Speakeasy Theater closed its doors on Sunday, March 22. There is a group online called iliketheparkway.com who are trying to revive the theater and find a new owner before some uber corporate developer comes in and tears it down to put some tasteless prefab boxed structure and fill it with starbucks jamba juice burger king and payday loans.
