Seems like in order to play games you are lured into this virtual concentration camp called Steam. There was never a need for steam. Steam is a middleman. Sure, Steam provides a gamer community with forums and chatrooms. Forums and chatrooms were available before they jizzed out beta versions of Steam. Sounds innocent still? Here is what got my supernasty hipsterpant
s in a bunch: There
is a growing number of games which you cannot patch unless you have
steam. That is not choice friendly. if you choose to play non steam
then your game goes unpatched. You won't get the updates that the good
boys and girls on steam get - applied automatically (who cares if you
didn't want the update). What amazes me is the complacency of the pc
gamers. You are all acting like steam is no big deal, it's just
something you have to register your personal data with and you don't
mind, as long as you get to play your game. Steam sux, it is an
invasive product that does nothing for the gaming community.
ok, that was all. Thank you for reading my gripe.
